Prior to establishing his own firm with locations in both San Francisco & Ventura, Mr. Bailey practiced in Century City with with a well known Los Angeles law firm. During his career, Attorney Bailey has recovered over $100 million for plaintiffs in property damage claims.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Bailey was a licensed general contractor in the State
of California and was involved in the family construction business established by
his father, who was also a licensed general contractor. His prior experience in the
construction industry has given him invaluable insight into the handling of construction
cases -
Mr. Bailey obtained the first jury verdict ($7.3 million) on behalf of an insured under Code of Civil Procedure section 340.9, the CA state law enacted in response to former Insurance Commissioner Quackenbush's scandal involving the handling of Northridge Earthquake insurance claims. In that action, entitled Tara Hill Homeowners Association v. Scottsdale Insurance, Terry Bailey obtained the landmark verdict against the insurer for its conduct in the handling of the damage claim.
